Wedding Part 1

I'm happy to finally share a few photos from the Goaks's wedding. There were hundreds and HUNDREDS of photos taken, so I'll be sharing just a few, and split it into two parts. Hope you enjoy! xo -Liz

Firsts.

It's so great being able to watch and sometimes document so many little firsts that Everett has. Yesterday, he took his first little ride on a motorcycle. My dad was just taking it around the block to park it, but it was indeed actually even the first time not being petrified of a running motorcycle. He's always been so enthusiastic about motorcycle anything, but whenever it was close by, running, he wouldn't want anything to do with it. So I was pretty surprised when he was totally cool with taking a ride in it!



We've also been working on putting Everett's room together lately, and he seems really excited about it too. We changed his bed a little so he can get in and out of it and he thinks it's SO cool. He hasn't slept in there yet, because I still need to make curtains for the windows and stuff, but he spends a lot of time in there lately playing with all his toys and reading a lot of books!

back yard strawberries, Amos LaRae and Isaiah in the side car, Beet leaves/celery/apple/cucumber/pineapple breakfast, editing away at wedding photos, cowboy boots and short shorts, too cute for words, the most interesting foot stool I ever did see, Everett requesting goat cheese and baby trees for lunch, fresh organic local from scratch strawberry rhubarb, our little river spot, can't get enough of his first time on the bump-n-jump, Palisade motorcycle show.

Happy June!

Happy first day of June! I think this is my favorite month of the year. It's been a great, so far. Today, I had some great luck Estate saling and just finished baking two fresh, organic, local, from scratch, strawberry rhubarb pies! I'm pretty sure I'm gonna have to sneak a piece before dinner. This month is also special to me, because it's our wedding anniversary, my birthday, the first day of summer, father's day, and my special little niece's very first birthday! This month's going to be filled with lots of fun for us, I'm pretty excited. I hope yours is chalk full of fun things too! xo -Liz

Memorial Day

Our Memorial Day was filled with so much happiness and beauty. It turned out to be such a beautiful day, the weather was perfect and everything went smooth. I still can't believe, though, that my Rachel is married! They seem so happy together though, I don't think anyone could have stopped them, even if they wanted. I'm so, so happy for them and want to say congratulations to them, such a cute couple! It was a memorable Memorial Day for sure!
