Week's End

I've been getting deeply involved in planning the little bears first birthday. It's been pretty fun and I can't wait to see how it all turns out! It's not going to be that big of a party, but I still want to make it special.
This weekend I get to finally enjoy a show that the sweet mister's playing, we are seeing what we are approved for to buy a house (!), and the sweet mister's Grandparent's (Everett's namesake) is coming into town to visit! I hope you have a great weekend too!
In other news... I have been dealing with this hyper child every evening right before it's bedtime!

I found a brand new package of water balloons for 10 cents at a yard sale! Since we didn't get to do a water fight this 4th, it's been on my mind. On the sweet misters one day off this week(or half day) we filled up a bunch of them and the little bear thought that they were THE COOLEST!

Happy Thursday Playlist!

 I decided it would be fun to put together a little acoustic summer playlist. I'm in a sort of low key mood, because last night the little bear decided to wake up in the middle of the night for a while, so I'm pretty tired. I might try to relax today and finally finish The Hunger Games on my Kindle and then hang out with my good friend Kasandra since she has an entire free day! :)

Humidity and Bike Rides

This weather has been pretty gnarly lately. Every time I get into bed my blankets feel like they're wet, even my clothes when I put them on the morning. We went down to ride our bikes at the river the other day and it felt ten times more humid! It was pretty awful how pools of sweat continued to drip off my forehead, and the little bear wasn't too thrilled about it either.
Really though, I love getting out for a nice bike ride, despite the mud, humidity, and attitudes haha.

Lavender Days!

This weekend we enjoyed the lovely Lavender Days Festival! It was held in the beautiful little town of Palisade. My gorgeous M-I-L joined us and took us out to lunch before we walked over to the park to enjoy the pretty aromas.

Summertime Goals...

A few things I want to do this summer:

Get a remote for my camera, (so I can take better pictures, esp. of myself).
Shoot a gun, (so I can feel bad-ass).
Mama & Baby Yoga, (so I can get a workout while hanging out with the little bear).
Find a place to move, (so we can actually use some of my junk and spread out to more than one room).
Go canoeing, (so I can enjoy some of this short, lovely summer).
Have WAY more Girls Night's (So I can enjoy more time with my lovely friends).

It's Crazy, This Weather!/Outfit Post

I haven't taken outfit post pictures in a long time, so bare with me. I took these during a few moments of sunshine yesterday. This weather has been CRAZY! I don't remember the month of July EVER being this stormy. It's been raining for like a week now with few minutes of sunshine now and then. I'm not complaining though, I LOVE the thunderstorms! It's probably going to start getting rancid once it's supposed to start cooling down knowing how weather around here is.

Gelato Sunday

This week the sweet mister only had one day off. Well, actually half if you count him being gone to play worship for a church all that morning. We enjoyed a walk and some delicious gelato. And later went to a show called "Strength Team". That was pretty cool and the little bear even enjoyed it!

"Strength Team" blowing up one of those rubber hot/cold packs. Supposedly really dangerous, but I've never tried it to find out haha.

It was a pretty good one day weekend! We really enjoyed it! xo
