Apple Picking II

It seems apple picking has become a yearly tradition for us! Almost a week ago(I know way to slack) we went out the the same orchard we did last year and picked a boat load of apples! This time there was quite a pack of friendly animals to greet us too! My mom and sister picked with us for the first time and My Sister-In-Law, Danelle, and her two, Elijah and Ellie, joined a little later as well!

Our Weekend

 This last weekend(after the reveal party) we celebrated my nephew, Elijah's, 4th birthday. They had a Lords and Ladies theme with castles, swords, and food fit for a king!

 A little later that day Everett was in our friend's, Tim and Dale's, wedding as their ring bearer. Since we couldn't make it to the rehearsal, via the ultra sound and party, we had to try and practice before the ceremony, even though he still ended up having a big case of stage fright! ...oh well :)

The Gender Reveal!

 My husband wanted to have a gender reveal party to announce the baby's gender after our ultrasound. So I began planning it a little, mostly the major stuff: date, place etc. and eventually got too overwhelmed with everything else to continue. Luckily, my Mother-In-Law, Roxy, did everything and I can't tell you how nice it was to sit back and enjoy my party! All I had to worry about was the cake and the pink OR blue filling! My sister had a game planned where she would ask David and I questions based on guessing the gender with old wives tales. Rachel kept the points on each side to see which gender was in the lead. So according to the old wives tales we would definitely be having a boy...

 I wish SO much I had video tapped the cutting of the cake instead of just pictures. The two grandma's reactions were absolutely priceless!

Couldn't Wait!

Between Burthday's and weddings, I've had NO TIME to post our gender reveal party photos. So while I'm sitting here waiting with Mr. Ring Bearer(Everett), I decided to try and blog our revealed news from my phone and... It's a girl!!!

Something Coming!

I normally look forward to Autumn EVERY year, but this year I might be extra impatient. I know I'll miss summer, but these scolding days are really getting to me, especially being pregnant. Supposedly, some say, the last day of summer is Labor Day, but I think it's technically more towards the end of this month. Especially with how hot its been lately. Here's a few pictures from last autumn, mostly to get my hopes up. (I'm so excited to wear big, warm clothes over my growing belly too!)

Everett Turns 3!

For Everett's third birthday party we had a carnival themed party. We had carnival games, corn dogs, face painting, and pies. Last year Everett cried while we sang the Happy Birthday song, but this year he enjoyed being sung to throughly! There was a lot more stress that came with getting the party started than what I was anticipating like not being able to cook the food very fast, forgetting to put out some decorations, and not being able to find my camera's memory card(thus the phone pictures and stolen ones from my mom's camera). But over all I think it turned out pretty good mostly because of the help from friends and family! 

P.S. we had an outdoor movie planned too, but because of things getting started late and not being able to get the sound to work the movie was started just about in time for little ones to head home for bed. We still enjoyed it anyway! and hope to do another one too before the weather gets cold!
