Truckin'

Yep, you guessed it! If you follow me in Twitter you already know that the little bear has been taking his first steps! It's SO bitter sweet :,) For the past couple days he's had to show Dada how much he's learned right when he walks in the door from work haha. Today the little bear actually got upset when the sweet mister walked in the door right past him as he was trying to show off for him. I bought him one of those walker things the other day, and ever since then, hes been crazy about getting walking down.

Yes Yes, No No.

Lately the little bear is REALLY into shaking his head NO. He does it at the most random times too, but he actually responds with shaking his head, when I'm saying YES to him, and I still don't understand why. It's hard to figure out why he does the things he does, and where he learns them from ha.

Little Frustrations

Today I'm not on such a positive note. We all know that life's not all perfection and happiness, so I'm sharing a little of the other side today. Some of you may know that the sweet mister started his new job not that long ago. In an earlier blog I described somewhat of how his days are scheduled. There's really been no change since then and it's been pretty tough. On his free nights, I like it when he takes time for just himself and his friends, but I REALLY miss having just "my time" too and doing what I want to do instead of staying at home with the little bear all day and all evening, doing laundry, dishes, making meals, running errands until bed time and then waking up and starting it all over again. Don't get me wrong, I'm totally in love with the little bear and love spending every moment with him, in fact I feel like part of me is missing if we're ever apart. But day after day without much of a break is getting to me. The sweet mister and I have had a few arguments about who's going out and who's staying in and I'm of course the most plausible candidate to stay in at night and watch the little bear alone since he's still breastfeeding. We still haven't come up with a real answer, but are trying to make the best of it until maybe we feel it's healthy enough for the little bear to stay up late and do stuff with us. In the mean time, I'm trying to make the best of it. Blogging is a big part of my everyday escape. I really enjoy putting together little posts, and I hope you enjoy it too!
The sweet mister and I pull through all the rough times pretty good in my opinion. I feel like we really get to know each others true personalities during the hard times. I'm so thankful that I have such an understanding husby. ❤

4th!

What an awesome 4th of July it was this year! We spent some time in Glade park to escape the heat. It was SO pretty and nice!

We got rained in after a while, which was totally fine :) We just watched The Emperors New Groove with the little bear an took a little snooze.

We went to a family BBQ later that day and set off a few fire crackers. Later on, we all enjoyed the amazing fire work show!

Sincerely Sorry...

I apologize for no recent posts over here. Our internet is completely down, since the construction on the roof and I can NOT wait until it's all over and done with! Easier nap times and I get my internet back!
I'll put up a Fourth of July post as soon as possible. It was so nice that the sweet mister had three days in a row off, and he spent most of it with with the little bear and I. But now he's back to the 45 hour week today.

I like riding my bike and hiking, but the gym is really convenient haha

If you had to work on only one project for the next year, what would it be?

I don't think I have the kind of patience to work on only one project for that long, so I would probably do a series of projects for Red Rabbit.

What was the last movie, TV show or book that made you cry or tear up?

Blue Valentine. I liked it and hated it at the same time. More hate though...

A good Woodchuck to drink and frozen yogurt to eat please :)

I have never been a real big gamer, but I was addicted to Super Mario Bros for most of my childhood and recently it has been Angry Birds... I can spend hours and hours playing that game.

Hmm... I suppose I would have to say Jason Schwartzman, Edward Norton, and I'd still have to include Dominic Monaghan
