Six Months and a Photo shoot

I did a little shoot with Rachel and Jacob today at the park, I have to say it was more fun and goofing off than anything else(proof in the pictures). Today also marks their six month anniversary! So it was a special day for these two! Love you guys and congratulations! xo -Liz

Family Picture Time

It always makes me realize how very little we have a family picture taken when Christmas picture time arrives. My sister took these for us when we had only a few free minutes one weekend and then I edited them. I hope we can make a little more time for a few more family pictures this next year, instead of waiting until Christmas again!

First Snow

Our weather report here this morning said we had an 80% chance of snow, and I was kinda excited. There's nothing like watching the first snow fall of the winter. But as the day went on, it was mostly sunny, hardly stormy, and the temperature was rising much higher than the estimated high, so my hopes for seeing snow today had pretty much disappeared. Once Everett woke from his late nap, it was already dark out and when I glanced out the window, to my surprise, there were tiny white flakes falling from the sky. I ran and grabbed Everett to bring him in front of the our sliding glass doors and we jumped up and down together shouting, "It's snowing, it's snowing!" It's so funny how you turn back into a kid when something exciting like a snow fall happens. Some things are just way more fun and exciting with a kid around, I love it more than anything! We ended up taking a little Snow Walk to enjoy it, but played most of the way. Everett calls the snow Snow Man and not just snow. Almost like there's snow men all over the ground. It's too cute.

Hallow's Eve

I about died with all the cuteness this Halloween. There were so many extremely cute and brilliant costumes we saw this year. Last year we went Down Town to some shops to trick 'r treat, so this was the first year we actually went to strangers doors. It was incredibley cute to watch the little ones run up to each door and stand there waiting with smiles and open candy bags prepared for another treat. Everett had a blast.
The day before Halloween, we had a little Halloween party with lots of games, soup, sweets, and a bon fire. Sadly, the camera stayed home both nights, but I happened to catch a few with my phone.

Visit to the Goblins

Every year, my family tries to visit Goblin Valley, Utah around the end of october. This year a bunch of us took a camping trip out there so we could get away and escape for more than just a day. Brenna, Everett and I shared a tent the first night. I hadn't tried camping in a couple years, since Everett was only a month old which was a failed attempt. He did pretty well though, besides being a little chilly. The next day was much, much warmer and we headed down to the Goblin Park to have a picnic lunch and hike around. We had many delicious meals too. The first night was croissant dough wrapped hot dogs over the fire and the second night was two giant team made stews. It's kinda sad that the camping season is over already though. We had a lot of fun and can't wait till next year!
