Happy first of July! Everett and I are spending the day getting ready to spend the night up in the mountains. It will be really nice to escape the city for a while and spend some time in the fresh mountain air. There have been so many wildfires around Colorado and Utah. The air has been so smoky its been giving me migraines off and on which I NEVER get. Last I heard one fire was 10 miles from the airport, but I believe it's moving away from GJ. They had to evacuate Debeque. And then I head of ANOTHER fire starting just yesterday near Mac(which is close to the Colorado/Utah border) which is also very close to us. I've been hearing about people's houses and apartments I know burning to the ground in Colorado Spings. I can't even imagine! It's all pretty overwhelming, but I'm so, so thankful that we have a roof over our heads. If you could, I hope you can say a quick prayer for all the people that have been involved in these wildfires and for the many brave fire fighters that they will have the wisdom to know what to do to battle the many fires out there right now.
