Our 4th was pretty uneventful until the evening. We took the kids down to the parade which was really nothing great to behold. Fireworks, including the city firework show, was banned so we tried to make the best of the day still. After all the candy, balloons, and obsession of the fire truck passed we walked back and had a barbecue with a bunch of friends until late that night. It was a great time, and turned out to be a great 4th despite everything else.
